My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms, while in need of some maintenance to reach a 5-star level, did offer a sitting room with a sofa, small fridge, and microwave. However, the lack of air conditioning and questionable cleanliness detracted from the experience. The service, despite the slightly depressing ambiance, was surprisingly courteous, professional, and accommodating, both in the room service and washroom. The location, though hidden away and showing signs of neglect like overflowing trash, was conveniently close to everything in downtown Detroit, making it a great base for exploring. The dining experience had its flaws, including a broken setup in the morning and lack of communication, but did offer traditional dishes. Overall, the facilities were decent, though some improvements could enhance the guest experience.
